AV-Comparatives awards another A+ for latest version of Emsisoft

AV Advanced +

At Emsisoft, we don’t generally like to boast. However, we do like our valued customers to know they are in safe hands with Emsisoft Anti-Malware. This has once again been confirmed by independent anti-malware research and testing organization, AV-Comparatives.

In April 2016, AV-Comparatives released the first part of their 2016 real-time protection report, and we’re proud to share those results with you.

Emsisoft awarded Advanced+ in AV-Comparatives File Detection Test

AV Advanced +

This test is a complete report of the scanner’s capabilities. Emsisoft Anti-Malware shows the third-best detection result in the group of 19 tested products. We have (amongst a few others) detected 99.8% of viruses, while the top 2 products (Kaspersky and Avira) lead the test set with 99.9%.

With only 3 false positives Emsisoft has been placed in the top group with only “a few” false detections. Whereas some other well-known anti-malware products had “many” false detections, and you can see these in the table below.

We’re of course delighted that Emsisoft Anti-Malware has received another “Advanced+” award, which is the highest award possible!

Emsisoft Anti-Malware latest version reached 100% detection rate!

We are pleased to share once again that Emsisoft Anti-Malware 11.5 reached 100% detection of malware, with a very low, 0.9% user dependent alerts.

Emsisoft tops 100% on AMTSO Real Time Threat List (RTTL)

Finally, the AMTSO is a newly introduced sub-test from AV-Comparatives. It uses test methodology of the AMTSO (an antivirus testing standardization organization).

Again, we’re pleased to report that Emsisoft Anti-Malware successfully blocked 100% of the test cases and therefore earned the RTTL Certification.
