Fantastic news to hear! Hopefully this will fix the need to reinstall Emsisoft Internet Security (EIS) & EAM after upgrading to Windows 10. All four of my Windows 7 installs that had EIS installed, had to be removed & reinstalled after upgrade, a component or service wouldn’t start was the notice.

Though to be fair, it should not go unnoted that this is an Emsisoft-only issue, there was one other major brand that did the same thing two straight times, and there were also non-security software that didn’t roll over to Windows 10, had to reinstall a couple of software choices on all computers.

This is common when a new OS is involved, and it was much worse when Windows 8 was released, by comparison, this wasn’t as bad. At least I was able to uninstall & reinstall, all was OK. Took all of 3 minutes to do this with EIS.

Unfortunately, the other brand required more steps.

Something didn’t install correctly I assume; as I am still running Vista Home Premium 64 bit and I had ti uninstall and re-install EIS as my malware woudn’t start for whatever reason. It appears with ever update that comes out my machine rejects a part of the software and it has to be debugged to fix it!!!

Apologies for double posts below. It was not intentional.
In the mean time the delay in reboot has been solved:

“Reboot Time Much Longer After Update”

And that was done during the weekend…. great service!
