New in 2020.4: Redefined Business Security and Enterprise Security plans

We’re very thankful that our customers continuously provide us with valuable real-world insights and feedback on how we can improve our products. In response to that and to better meet our customer’s requirements, we are implementing changes to the licensing plans of Emsisoft Business Security and Emsisoft Enterprise Security, effective immediately.

Changes in Emsisoft Business Security:

Customers who already have more than 2 admins or more than 10 policies can keep them, but they can’t add more.

Changes in Emsisoft Enterprise Security:

Priority support and call-back service can be requested by customers through the support button in MyEmsisoft.

Prices are not being changed. We believe that these changes will benefit our loyal users. A number of enterprise-specific improvements and additions are on our roadmap for later this year.

How to obtain the new version

As always, so long as you have auto-updates enabled in the software, you will receive the latest version automatically during your regularly scheduled updates, which are hourly by default.

Note to Enterprise users: If you have chosen to receive “Delayed” updates in the Update settings for your clients, they will receive the new software version no earlier than 30 days after the regular “Stable” availability. This gives you time to perform internal compatibility tests before a new version gets rolled out to your clients automatically.

Have a great and well-protected day!
